Personal Macro Workbook Keyboard Shortcuts Not Working

I recently changed laptops. And now when I try and record macros on my personal macro workbook and assign a keyboard shortcut, the keyboard shortcuts don't work. However, if I open up the code/VBA and click run, it runs the macro just fine. Anyone know how to fix this?

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
I think you may need to re-assign them on your new computer.

What is the exact keyboard shortcut you are trying to assign?
After you attempt to reassign the keyboard shortcuts, if you go to the Macros menu, select View Macros, select the macro you just tried to assign and click on the Options button, does it show it being assigned?

I did a search for people with the same problem, and came up with a few possibilities.
Have a look at these:

Hopefully one of those might help shed some light on it.

Try creating a brand new workbook, and creating a very simple VBA procedure, and try applying a keyboard shortcut to it.
Does it work?

If it does, then that suggests there may be an issue with the particular workbook (maybe some corruption?).

If it does NOT work, then assuming that you are applying the shortcuts correctly, that would suggest there may be a problem with the installation of Excel on that computer.
Make sure that you have applied ALL updates and fixes, so you are current.
