Permissions Access Denied

Is anyone familiar with this issue? I sent a very large file that did contain a macro to a client, and when they tried to access it, they get this error message:

"The permissions on this file were updated and you no longer have rights to view this file"

I had send a previous version of this file to them and there was no problem with it, so the only difference I see is the addition of a macro. Any suggestions as to how to correct this?
