Hi Everyone,

I am currently looking for a way to have it so when a manager is working with an employee on their development plan they are able to have a quick way to plot multiple employees on to a 9 box grid with the click of a single macro. Both the performance and potential rating scale from 0 - 5 and the layout of the box is as follows:

7 8 9
4 5 6
1 2 3

My main concern is that when there are managers with 100's of employees that the credibility of the data is not compromised by the data shifting out of the appropriate 9box, seeing as this would lead to skewed results. If anyone has any experience with a tool of this nature I would love any advice or help in creating such a tool.

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
I feel as if this could use some more clarification, as such I have made a quick sample of what I envision the end product looking like (I'm more of the visionary, not quite the technical pro). In this example you would enter in the employee name, the performance rating, and the potential rating. After this you would click the populate macro and be moved into the second tab in which the 9 box would generate showing the employees on the grid. Ideally any formulas would be located in a third separate tab that can be locked so managers don't mistakenly adjust any important data.
