Percentage Increase

I need a formula to work out a percentage increase from one cell to another for example.

Cell A1 = 10
Cell A3 = 15
Cell A4 = 50%

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
If you are on 2007

Highlight the cells you want to check if they are greater than 5%

On the Home Tab got to Styles. Click Conditional Formatting > Highlight cell rules > greater than.

Type in 0.05.

Click OK.
