I have a grid of cells with various numbers which all represent 100%. In another single cell I have ‘100%’ typed in as a percentage. The question I have is, what formula do I need to link the grid of numbers to the single cell so that when I type in ‘80%’ in the single all the numbers in the grid change by the correct value?

There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Welcome to Mr. Excel...

Would you use XL2BB to show a few examples?
