Hiya,

I'm trying to put together a spreadsheet to work out a team performance for answering emails. Could anyone please help with the formula I need?

The basic figures are:

overall emails into the team: 1626 (in section F2)
emails answered by the team member: 199 (in section D9)
number of days worked by that team member: 11 out of 20 possible (in section C9)

I hope this makes sense? Please let me know if I'm asking the impossible.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Perhaps:-
If you assume that each day produces the same amount of emails then
performance = 199/(11/20*1626)*100 = 22.25%

If you don't know how many possible emails a person could answer within the number of days they work, I don't see how you get a result.

Cheers,
At the end of the month, I have the amount of emails that were answered on any particular day. But they are different figures for each day.

I would create a table showing all the dates you receive emails with the Emails count against them, and against that, the people who where working on those days, then you can possible calculate the Efficiency in relation to How many they answered out of how many possible.

Thanks for the advice. I'll put it together and hope it'll work.
