Hi

I have a worksheet that I convert negatives to positives by selecting cell and then putting in formula -1* and dragging all the way down the worksheet.

Im then trying to cut and paste the converted values into another row in the worksheet. If I copy and paste they change the red negative figures to a negative figure in black and then have to format cells to show 2 decimal places and if I copy and paste special it just copies first figure all the way down.

What am I doing wrong and is there a way round it.

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
I suspect that you want paste-special values-and-number-formats. You can click on the appropriate paste-special > paste-value icons, or click paste-special > paste-special (yes, two different places!) > values-and-number-formats.
