Hey,
Hopefully a simple question that I simply can't find the answer to.
I routinely have to apply conditional formatting to data from testing we do, which regularly is 3 categories: More than 1 SD below average; within 1 SD of average; 1 SD more than average.
When doing this, I typically create 3 conditional formatting rules, and apply this across the range of interest. Problem is, I often have to do this for up to 50 categories, and this simply becomes tedious.
If I use the format painter, then the formatting rules reference to the original dataset's average/SD, not the new range.
What I'd like to do is effectively a "Fill-> Right" with conditional formatting so that the formatting knows to choose the relevant average/SD.
I don't know that I've explained this terribly well, nor if the attached image is going to help:

In essence ,I'm asking is there a simple way to set up the formatting as described when my data is organised as shown in the attached image?
I'm having issues saving the book to that location, but I'll keep trying.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Rod
