I update several data sheets daily. One portion of the macro applies a filter, sets the copy range, applies the offsets, and pastes the values into the first empty position in Column B, between 300-400 rows of data, leaving Column A blank. I need to copy a date from another workbook and past as a value in every cell in column A, that just had data added in column B. Finding the first empty cell in column A isn't a problem. Once I determine the first empty cell in Column A, I need to determine how many rows I need to copy the data into. It's obviously some sort of count on Column B but the values in Column B are all different and all the rows above the data I just pasted will already have a date in Column A. Hope this makes any sense at all. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

It would make more sense to post the code that you refer to. Just copy and paste it into the thread.
