I am on Excel 2010. I don't know if I ever had the HTML option in my Paste Special drop down, but the only options I have are Unicode Text and Text. Is there a way to add the HTML option?

When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Welcome to the Board!

It is dependent on where you are copying the data from.
If I try to copy something off of the internet, I am presented with that HTML option.
However, if I try to copy something from another Excel file or a Text document, I am not.

If you try to copy the body of this reply, do you see the HTML option (I do)?

Ah Joe,

Thanks for the welcome and thanks for this reply. I do see the HTML option when I copied your reply.

Thanks so much!

OK. That means the source you are copying from does not have an HTML option (if it is just from a file and not off the internet, that makes sense).
