Paste link with exact formats

I know that I've been able to do this before, but can't seem to figure it out now. I want to paste a link and maintain formatting that varies within the cell contents. See below.
origin cell has, in this case, one word that is colored, bold, and italic that I want repeated in linked cell: ( I want THIS ) not ( I want THIS)

If by linked cell you mean a formula, then it can't be done.
