Paste Chart Word, PPT, as a CHART, UN-link data

Hello all! Long time lover of Mike and Bill..

Okay.. I would like to paste a pivot table chart into Word (or PPT), BUT maintain the benefits of chart functionality AND not have the chart update each time I adjust the pivot table.

FYI, I've already seen the trick here: http://youtu.be/EakBrAzC1WA
Unfortunately the F9 trick to insert "source data" into the chart (aka, un-link to cell references) does not work; I get an error after evaluating the "source data" components of the function. Erg.

So yes, every time I updated the pivot table chart (say, look at a different variable), it still impacts the chart in the Word or PPT program.. I really prefer *not* to paste as an image (it's much more convenient to paste with chart manipulation functionality).

Any thoughts please! Thanks all.
