Hi All,

I have an array formula on one sheet that is populating a list of results which I am using VBA to copy and place into a specific position by copying the entire named range the array is in.

The problem I am having is that when I Paste as Values, the blank cells that contained the formula in the first sheet are not being detected as blank cells on the second sheet. I have tried using Go To Special (Blanks) on the region and it says there are no blanks found. When highlighting the blanks cells there is a cell Count in the bottom corner, where normally that does not appear when selecting a blank range.

I realise that the issue must have something to do with using Paste as Values, but I do not know how to get around this issue.

Cheers

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Q1 Are the original cells truly blank or do they contain a formula which returns "" (or some other invisible character)
- cells containing formula are not blank or empty

Q2 What are you wanting to do to the pasted "blank" cells after finding them?

Try
Code:
Myrange.Value=Myrange.Value
Replacing MyRange with the actual range.
This needs to be done after the copy/paste
