Would an Admin or the site owner like to answer this question please?
Regarding: Hack of MrExcel

https://monitor.firefox.com/breach-details/MrExcel
"On December 5, 2016, MrExcel suffered a breach. Once the breach was discovered and verified it was added to our
database on January 22, 2017."

"What data was compromised:

Passwords

IP addresses

Email addresses

Dates of birth

Additional information, including:

Social connections, Usernames, Website activity"

Why was there no notification sent from this site, at least I was never sent an email about this?
Why wasn't a PM sent within the site which I assume would have then fired off an email to users?
Why wasn't there a forced password change on next login via email link etc?

Disappointing to see an old password that was stolen from this site still working just now!!!

Thanx for the link.

I'm looking at my email archive now for the 14, 15 January 2017 and just in case 22 January, but as I hadn't changed email address that last one isn't helpful to me.
I don't have a spam folder for the email address in question, so nothing should get dropped or lost.

I didn't get a notification, I've done a detailed search.
"We are requiring all users you to promptly...."
  • Were these the only notifications pairlist.net or pairlist.com sent out to users regarding this hack?
And did MrExcel later then send any notifications?
To clarify a little, my password was unique to the MrExcel site, and has been sent to that email address only. I have several email addresses and all the emails received are a match for that address and my password for this site, not anymore as I've changed it now.
