Password protect a Folder

I know how to password protect an excel file, however, is there a way to password protect a file folder with excel files in it? Say I have hundreds of documents in a single folder that I need secure, however, I don't want to go back in and password protect every one of them. I know this is not necessarily an Excel question but know my Excel buddies can help.
