I am hoping that this does not turn out to be another of my naive questions, but..........
I am hoping that I will be able to assign user rights (add/edit/delete) to prevent unauthorised changes to data held in a particular table.
Is it possible to do this at high level (ie logon), and if so, how do you differentiate the password levels?
If this is indeed a bridge too far, I imagine that it can be accomplished at the level of forms with the properties suitably set, BUT.... how do you then give access to some users (say Add/Edit rights, but not DElete rights), and not others?
Can anybody advise me?
(I have ordered my Access/VBA book, but need to get up the learning curve a bit quicker than the time I have to spare)
Many Thanks
