passing a different nework ID in VBA code to access a file

I'm trying to insert vba code into a macro to will allow the user to access an excel data file in a directory location they do not have access via network security.

I established the following network user id "salesid" and the password is "salesdata'

the location of the file is O:\sales\customer.xls
