I truly appreciate anyone's help with this. I have scoured forums for days in search of the steps to take.
I have a worksheet (a list) with a macro button that sorts the list. I would like to access this list on my phone (excel online), and am fine without the macro function being available there, as I know it cannot be active. How can I pass it to excel online (and therefore access on phone), and then pass back to normal excel without losing the macro? Currently, excel online requests that I make an editable copy, which removes the macro, and so it is of no use in regular excel, where I would like to again sort.
Steps:
1. Upload workbook (with Macro) to excel online
2. Edit if necessary, (without Macro function)
3. In order to edit, I have to make a copy. Can this step be skipped?
4. pass workbook back to regular excel with macro untouched, so I can again make use of its function
Thanks,
Glenn
