Hello,
Would really appreciate your kind help here...<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
I have 2 lists of customer names (from 2 different systems) as a result I have multiple names for the same customer. (even in the same list)<o></o>
So I copied each list in a separate column and sort it according to alphabet (see an example below)<o></o>
My final target is to create a matrix table which will outline all the name combinations of a certain customer (let’s say according to List 1)<o></o>
So for example I will know that ‘accenture’ has 3 naming combinations: Accenture, accenture Italy, Accenture ltd<o></o>
<o></o>
A B C<o></o>
1 List 1 List 2 Requested Result <o></o>
2 accellos aastra accellos gmbh<o></o>
3 accenture aastra telecom Accenture ltd<o></o>
4 accenture Italy accellos gmbh Accenture ltd<o></o>
5 accurate always Accenture ltd
<o></o>
Having said that, what should be the formula for calculating the results in column C, taking into consideration the Partial text match?
<o></o>
<o></o>
Notes:<o></o>
- Both Lists consist several names for the same customer (e.g. List 1: accenture, accenture Italy; List 2: aastra, aastra telecom )<o></o>
<o></o>
Will gladly add any missing information if required.<o></o>
Thanks,
Aviv.<o></o>
