HI
I have created a parameter query, when it runs the dialog box gives the user the Message " Please key in a region (i.e. Toronto, London, Hamiltion etc). The problems is the whole message is not displayed it is cut off after the London. Is there a way to word wrap the message or are you limited to a certain number of characters?

Thanks
Liz

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Liz, try a different approach.

Filter by Form:

Create a form with a text box, now put the name of that text box in the criteria of your query like this:

eg.

Form!YourFormName!YourTextboxName

Now put a button on your form that opens that query. Or the report bound to the query.

Alternatvely put a combo on the form that looks up the value from your table to eliminate spelling errors. When placing the combo with the wizard choose the 1st option and store the value for later use.
