I have 10 worksheets that contain data by price ranges. I have created a new worksheet to summarize the data in a different perspective. I have used copy and paste (link) to insert data. On original 10 worksheet pages, I used copy and paste(formula) to insert data from adjacent column and/or row. When I attempt this with linked data on new worksheet, the paste(formula) doesn't work. Solution?
Since I cannot use an image attachment, here is attempt to visually explain
Example #1: a worksheet for each of 10 price ranges (100-200, 200-300, 300-400, etc)with the following:
Rows:
Listings
Contracts
Sold
DOM
Columns
months of year
Example #2: New Summary worksheet
Listings
100-200
200-300
300-400
etc.
Contracts
100-200
200-300
300-400
Columns:
months of year
How do I take data from worksheet example #1 to worksheet #2 without just a copy and paste(link). In theory, after copy and paste the first column of data, shouldn't I be able to use copy and paste(formula) that adjusts the cell location from example #1.
I have screenshots, but this site doesn't permit attachments.
