I think padded reports is the correct term for what I am trying to accomplish. What I need to do is create a report that will allows users to be interactive. I have created a word document by using access and entering form fields for the user to enter text but I am wondering if there is a way to do the same thing by creating the same report in Access.

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
Not as easily as in word but you could add the fields to a form in Access and have the report link to those fields when it runs.

The report will have to be emailed to a user for input into certain fields. I would like to be able to create a 1 page report with input fields. Do you think that is possible.

not with Access.
You may be able to do something by using automation with word or maybe even outlook. Are you after them using this as a data gathering system?
