I have to segregate a consolidated P&L, in which I have PY, CY, BUD for one brand followed by another brand and there are almost 50 brands. What I have to do is I have create a master table where in I will put in the Brand name and it should reflect the information for that brand.
G1, H1& I1 contains the same brand name and G2 cell is written as PY, H2 is written as CY and I2 is written as BUD. Column A will remain the same as that contains the list of Particulars like A3 is sales, A4 is COGS. I am trying to get the desired value at cell G3. As B:F is total of Brands and variances. May some one help me to create a formula for lookup be it using Index match, Hlookup and if or Sumifs. I have tried a lot but it didn’t work for me.
