Figured we have enough people here to get a review.
I've read the online review - do not post links to them, copy/paste them here, etc.
I want PERSONAL reviews. And if you work for them, no posting either.

So - has anyone used overstock.com and what was your experience?

I've had pretty good luck with them and the $1 shipping is great. Books, CD's & toys are pretty good and you can't really go wrong.

But caveat emptor, if you think something's too good a deal to be true it probably is. They do have some schlocky stuff, i.e. Cyndi got me one of those shower radio/mirrors for XMAS. POS! It's almost a shame to send it back, cuz I'd rather just break it into pieces than take the effort.

But all in all it's been a good experience, especially as that's where I did almost of of my XMAS shopping this year. Beats the hell out of going to a mall.

Not that I've experienced. If I recall they have an "Items Left In Stock" meter when you're selecting and if an item runs out it gets removed from your cart.

Stuff from O-Stock seems to come faster than from Amazon too.
