I need what I think should be a simple macro in Outlook VBA (2010). I have a lot of folders and just want a macro that switches from my inbox to a folder called "Feast 2022 Emails". I go back and forth between these folders constantly. Outlook VBA does not appear to have a "record macro" feature.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Do you mean that you want the view to switch back and forth?

I have written a fair amount of VBA for Outlook and I could look into how to do that. But if it were me I would just open two Outlook windows at once and switch back and forth between the windows.

If you really need a macro I can see if it's even possible.

Hi 6StringJazzer,
Yes, I just want a macro that I'd assign to an icon or QuickStep that selects the "Feast 2022 Emails" folder from whatever other folder I am in at the time (typically that's the inbox). I copied some code from another website but it doesn't work as hoped. It opens the select folder dialog box which is no faster than just paging down to the folder. I do not know Outlook VBA and am looking for a quick solution, rather than studying the objects, syntax, keywords, etc. Please let me know if you can help.
Thanks,
Randy

Outlook 2010 Predates the Favorites Section?
It must. I don't see a Favorites section. I could set up a Quick Step rule to MOVE an email to the appropriate folder but not one to just open the folder.

I've been on 365 for so long, I looked up the feature for 2010 and it exist. However, you have to turn it on.
Under VIEW, select the Folder Pane drop down and then click Favorites.
With Favorites you can have folders easily accessible and even a detailed subfolder just 1 click away.

Solution
I found it but it's under Folder/Add Folder to Favorites, not under the View menu on my version of Outlook. It did work and now going from the Inbox to the other folder is very fast and convenient. Using a macro would have been an alternative way of doing it but this solution is fine. Thank you for your help!
