Hi.

I was wondering if it is possible to do 2 things via VBA in MS Outlook (I use Outlook 2019).

  1. For certain emails (for now I have rules to put emails to specific folders) I'd like to remove the envelope icon which pops in system tray and in the TaskBar on the Outlook icon/window. To make it clear, even though emails are moved to folders I still get envelopes for each of them.
  2. To mark emails read when they come within some specified time frame only, i.e. between 8 am and 8 pm.

I would be grateful for hints if possible.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
