Outlook VBA module does not persist

I have a small module in my Outlook project. It was called Module1 as I did not rename it. A while back I created a new module with new code. I named it Outlook_Routines, deleted the old Module1 module, debugged and saved.

The problem is that the module does not persist. If I log out and then log back on again, the Module1 module is still present and the Outlook_Routines module is gone.

This is a work laptop that is not always connected to the network. I seem to have this issue most often when I have switched between connected and not connected.

I also can remote in via a VPN connection to my work desktop machine. The Outlook settings are the same as the laptop.

I have tried to make it persist by recreating the steps to save the Outlook project when connected to the network. Then, I redid the process after I logged off and rebooted with no connection.

Can anyone shed any light or point me in the right direction? The IT department does not have any solutions to offer.

Please let me know if you need any additional details.

my guess is where your profile is situated when you log on to the works network, as opposed to the local profile when you login locally
what version of windows are you running ??

try start > run > %userprofile% and see where it points, when connected and disconnected

I'm on Windows 7 (64 bit). I will test your suggestion.

Thank you.
