I've just ebcome a dad and agreed with my boss to do my 35 hours over four days mon-tue and thur-fri. i've got a few requirements to this agreement, one of which is to put my outlook on out of office every wednesday! i'm awful at rememebring these things especially when it's a regular thing. s there anyway i can script something to on close see if it's a tuesday and then switch off out of office, i'll then do on open switch off out of office.

i've doen similar things in outlook but used record to get me started and feel confident i can script something once i'm started but not even sure where to go with outlook other than the usual Alt-F11.

Can someone please help?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.

You may roll your eyes at my solution, but I think scripting is not worth the time for this problem. Add a calendar reminder every tuesday afternoon and another every thursday morning. Then do it manually. It's not as "automated" as the solution you want, but it's much easier.

Congratulations on becoming a father.
