Hi All,

I wonder if anyone could help me...

Im trying to get a macro to run whenever an email message is received.

It is to save all the attachments of emails to a folder so that I dont have to physically save them.

I have the macro running and am just wanting to know how I get it to now run when the email is received?

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
I'm sorry I can't help, but would love to know how to run macros in Outlook, too!

I want to save certain data contained in the body of the email, whenever I receive an email from a certain sender.

I've got a feeling it's possible, but have only ever used macros in excel before.

Can anyone help us?! :)

You could try the NewMail event.
Code:
Private Sub Application_NewMail()
' Do something
End Sub
If this doesn't work, you could try monitoring the Inbox using the ItemAdd event.
