I'm hoping I can get some help with this since I cant seem to find an Outlook Forum anywhere to ask.
Here is my problem:
I have a Parent folder named Staff.
Inside the Staff folder I have 3 child sub-folders named:Ben, Judy, and Scott.
When I get an email from Ben, Judy, or Scott a copy of that email is put in the Staff folder so that it can count how many emails are unread. If I don't put a copy of that email in the Parent folder then I can't tell how many unread emails I have in the child folders.
I need a macro that compares the Parent folder to the Child sub-folders. If the Child sub-folder email is read then delete the email in the Parent folder. If it is Unread then keep it there.
Is this possible?
