My boss has asked me to send an excel file to him and 2 other people everyday after I update it with the current day's numbers. I thought that it would be easier if I made a macro to do it for me, instead of the 45 seconds it takes me to do it before I leave . . . man, I am really getting lazy. Anyway, if anyone could help me, this is what I need it to do.

1) Open a new mail message
2) Place the 3 names of the recipients in the To: Line
3) Place the subject in the Subject: line
4) Attach the excel file
5) Send the e-mail

I thought I would just be able to record a macro, but unless I am missing something terribly obvious, I did not see a macro recorder in Outlook.

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
Also, I guess ideally, this code would be applied to a button on the spreadsheet that I could click as soon as I update the information. If that was the case, the macro may need to open Outlook as well, and close it when it was done.

Why not record the macro in Excel?

Or take a look at the SendMail method?

I tried to do that from here at home, but got nothing. No code at all. I thought that maybe it was not able to record when using other programs. I can try it again on Monday when I go back to work.
