Tom, don't forget that if you do change your registry (Start | Run | regedit), be SURE TO CREATE A BACKUP. Messing with the registry does not have an undo or save feature - you do it in RegEdit, it's done. Be careful, people have screwed their entire OS by messing with the registry and not knowing what they're doing.

I thought maybe there was some simple API stuff. There is something like NotifyIcon I've used in VB. I'll look into my own solution because I would like to have some of Outlook Express' menu options available at a right click on the icon in the tray.
