Hello,

I would like to know how to develop an automated email response based on user response. This is what I would like to develop:

Using Outlook 2007 a template is created with a mail list group and two buttons that allow the recipient to either Approve or Deny the specific event. Once the button is clicked by the recipient, the response would automatically send a email back to the original creator of the email. Email would provide the event status as Approved and the name of the approver or Denied and the name of the person that denied.

Thanks is advanced!

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
I may be wrong, but can't you use the voting feature of Outlook 2007 to accomplish what you need? When you create your template to add the mail list, I think the Options menu might give you what you are looking for.

Hope that helps.
Mary
