"Out of Memory" when I try to run a web query

I have a brand new Acer Aspire E 15 Laptop (purchased August 3, 2018 ... 8th Gen Intel Core 13-8130U, 6GB RAM Memory, etc.). The only thing I use the computer for is to surf the Internet and work on a college football spreadsheet.

Specifically I run web query(s) in Excel to bring box scores into the college football spreadsheet.

Everything was working fine from September thru last week. However, this week when i ran the query I started to receive an "Out of Memory" error that prevents me from completing the task.

Unfortunately I am not very computer/Excel savvy, so I do not know how to fix the problem (I surfed the Internet looking for solutions, but nothing has helped).

I never had this problem with my old laptop and it doesn't have nearly as much memory as this new laptop.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.

From your description it sounds like the 'out of memory' issue only occurs when you run the football spreadsheet ?

If that is the situation, something has changed with the spreadsheet from before.

Have you changed anything ?
Did Windows and/or Excel receive a recent upgrade ?
Does your workbook retain data that is added each time you use it ? If so, is the saved data so large it has finally "stepped over the memory limit barrior" ?

What other differences do you suspect could have occurred to the workbook ?
