Hi ALl,

I was recently tasked with mapping the senior leaders in our business into a summary table showing representing our organisation via Grade and Business Unit functions.

I basically concatenated their Name, Role Title and Salary and then manually placed them into the below table - which you can imagine was very very time consuming.

I appreciate there are a large number of variables and formatting could be an issue, but i was wondering if anyone had any coding available that would at least take out the majority of the pain of manually having to update this in the future.

Their can be an input file which would have Employee Number, Name, Salary, Grade, Division/SBU etc

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
Hi

Can you pls try out pivot tables
From the explanation, all the entries would have fields such as Name, Role Title and Salary-- hence pivot tables can display data in any format that you would want
Please excuse, in case my understanding is incomplete
