I may be reaching here, but has anyone who uses Oracle Smart View for Excel discovered a way to use VBA to make a selection in a dropdown in a POV form?
Background Info: My company uses Smart View and supplies us with a list of forms we can open. After we open the form, we select a project from a POV dropdown box, update data as needed, and submit the form.
My challenge: I want to create a macro that will select the project I need and refresh the form. From there I want to grab the data on the form, put it in a separate spreadsheet, then go back to the form and refresh it with a different selected project. I know how to do the copy part, I just can't figure out how to select a new project and refresh the form. I've spent hours going through the Oracle Smart View guide for VBA functions but have yet to come up with an answer. The closest I've been able to get is getting a successful return when running "HypGetPagePOVChoices(Empty,"Project",mbrName, mbrDesc)" so I know the variable name is "Project". I just need to figure out how to set the variable on the form so I can refresh it.
Any ideas?
Thank you!
