I'm brand new to the idea of macros, but I'm hoping this can be done without too much complication. I'm a teacher and I'm building a spreadsheet for a lesson. The students enter a yearly salary in box A. Then there will be several sections ("Housing", "Clothes", "Entertainment", etc.). Each section will have three radio buttons. In the housing section, for example, they will choose using radio buttons either the luxury house, the cinderblock house, or the shack.

I would like to assign a value to each radio button that will add to a running total somewhere on the page (amount left as each object that is chosen is subtracted from the budget total they entered at the beginning).

Hopefully that is clear enough. Thanks in advance if you decide to help.
