Hi,

I get the prompt "Do you want to optimize the workbook"? The only way I can get rid of this is by clicking on it and then selecting "Optimize All".

I really don't want to do this because it kind of forces me to make changes I don't fully understand. Is there any way to get rid of the prompt without going along with these changes to the workbook?

Thanks,

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
Apparently you are stuck with it as reported here May 2024

If it's a new thing to you it may be due to a recent update of Excel that was done to your pc. I've never experienced the prompt but if I did I might try turning off alerts in a workbook open event (VBA) and then turn that back on as a keyboard shortcut. You could also research the feature to see why it happens and changes that might be made.

I started seeing the prompt about 2 months ago.

Microsoft insists on giving all these stupid warnings which are unecessary. Word is always asking me if I want to go to the place I was last etc. It would be nice if all these popups could be removed somehow.
