I am trying to figure out a way to insert link to open certain files that are stored on a server, however not everyone has them mapped to the same drive as i do. I cannot seam to find a solution to this online. any help would be greatly appreciated.

i have my server files mapped to the D drive and the open just fine, a co worker has theirs mapped to the S drive and it will not open. is there a way to get around this with out 20-30 plus ppl remapping their drives to the D drive.

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Use UNC path. Something like:
\\ServerNameHere\TopFolder\NextFolder\etc.

You should be able to see the details by going to the properties - probably by right clicking on the drive letter that you have mapped to it.
