:cry: I need help-

Set objxl = GetObject("file://SB-B01-W02/DATA/MFG_INFO/SHARED/FactoryRpt/B8Dewar.xls")
objxl.Application.Visible = True
objxl.Worksheets.Visible = True
'objxl.ActiveWorkbook.Run "update"
x = objxl.Application.Run("B8Dewar.xls!update")
objxl.Close
Set objxl = Nothing

Need to make the worksheets in the excel file be standardly all visible when the opens, and I've tried almost everything. Please help.

--> ON a further note, it isn't opening, using the sheets hide, but rather a "workbook hide under the excel window drop down".

Thanks,

Deborah

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Hi,

I did manage to do this once but the details elude me now. I'd suggest trying one of the Access download resources. Helen Feddema has an excellent site with a bunch of automation examples: http://www.helenfeddema.com

Hope this helps.
