I have been able to open a password protected document using code, and inside that pdf is an excel file which I need to open. I can't find examples of code that would open that document. The name is always the same. Any thoughts?

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
I don't think we are allowed to discuss methods of breaking passwords on this forum.

This isn't about the password, this is about opening the excel file embedded in the pdf.

So this is not a one-time thing?

I searched for a few minutes; there's lots of examples on how to embed PDFs into Excel, few on how to embed and Excel workbook into a PDF, but none to extract the Excel workbook from a PDF.

Yes, not a one time thing. I want to open the embedded excel file every day. That embedded file or attachment always has the same name, but it is updated each day. I was trying to figure out a work-around by simply saving the attachment, then opening if from the drive where it is saved. So far, I don't have any good ideas.
