Hi
I have 2 excel files A.xlsx and B.xlsx. I want to open them both in 2 different windows. Right now if I double click on A and then on B they will both open in the same window. I want them to open in different windows as different files. I have windows 10.

Thanks

Ps: what I did, i clicked on A and open it. Then went to start-->excel and opened empty excel and then went to File-->open --> B

is there better way? thanks

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
I know the question is 2+ years old but for Excel 2016- assuming it is already open - the answer is you will need to create a new "instance" in Excel by right clicking the Excel Icon on the taskbar, hold down the ALT key and select Excel and at this point you will be prompted to open a new instance- different window if you will. Hope this helps someone in the future.

I am not sure where you are getting that from - it is not even 1 month old!

Regardless of the timing, thanks for responding.
