is there any possibillity to open the firefox browser and navigate it to a website via vba?

Hi, :)

this way you can call any installed browser. Change "Safari" to "Firefox":

Code:
Option Explicit
Public Sub Test()
    Dim objWSH As Object
    On Error GoTo Fin
    Set objWSH = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
    objWSH.Run ("Safari http://www.google.de")
Fin:
    Set objWSH = Nothing
    If Err.Number <> 0 Then MsgBox "Error: " & _
        Err.Number & " " & Err.Description
End Sub
