OPen locked database

Hi, I am trying to open database that is placed on the network drive, so many people are using them. And they can't go to the design view at all. becasue they all have run time access version on them. I design the database. but today I get an error that database is placed in the administrative mode, that is preventing being locked or open by another user. Error 3734.

How would I go in the database now? any help please.
I can't even export any table in.

Well, the first thing is to make absolutely sure that all users are out; when you get the error message that "this database has been locked by user ADMIN on computer..." check the computer that it's telling you that it's locked on. If there are any .ldb files beside the .mdb file, delete them. If that doesn't work, create a blank database and import every object from the locked database into it using the import wizard; this often clears up random errors. Sadly, Access is not a good multi-user tool, going forward, you will probably get more errors, but on the brighter side your trouble-shooting skills will go through the roof.
