Open external reference and close

Hi,

I have an excel file where almost in every cell there is an external reference.
In every month I use a "find and replace" macro to change the reference links but it takes hours to finish it!!!

Is there a way to use a macro for the followings:
1. it collects all the external file links on the selected sheets (maybe one by another is better)
2. it opens the files
3. runs find and replace macro
4. it closes the external files

I'd like to speed up this process and I think it could be a solution.
