Hi,
I'd like 5 rows, with 4 tick boxes in each row. In each row, I'd like only 1 tick box that can be selected in each row.
Currently I have 2 non-working versions
1: Only 1 box can be ticked in all the 5 rows !!
2: All of the tick boxes can be ticked !!
Can you help out at all please? I an using Excel 2003.
Cheers

Hi and welcome to the Board!!
If you mean CheckBoxes, you are using the wrong tool. Have a look at Option Buttons, or Radio Buttons from wither the Forms toolbar or the Controls toolbar. These can be grouped to be mutually exclusive.

I think I used the wrong term. From the FORMS toolbar, I selected the CheckBox and then inserted it into my worksheet.

Choose the option buttons instead!! It's the "round" one. To group them, draw a frame (also from the forms toolbar) around them. Each button within each frame will be mutually exclusive.
