OnKey with Msgbox

How can I create a msgbox with Onkey code below. I want to create a message that says this function is restricted.

    Application.OnKey "^n", "^n"

Paste this into a regular module :

    MsgBox "This is restricted.", vbCritical, "Error"
End Sub

Paste this into the ThisWorkbook module :

Option Explicit

    Application.OnKey "^n", "ShwMsg"
