One Variable Data Table (What If Analysis) Not Fully Updating

I am using a one variable data table to automate a complex calculation for three scenarios. The table doing the calculations is reasonably complex (a couple thousand array formulas), but calculates in a second or two for one scenario.

When I try automating the calculation of all three scenarios using the what-if data table (one variable), it sometimes works, but other times only half of the cells will update. Eventually after 5 or 6 tries of recalculating the workbook, the table will eventually update, but this is troubling, since I don't get any error thrown if it didn't fully update.

I have my workbook on "autocalculate except data tables", so I know that I need to hit F9 to get the table to update.

What I want is to know whether Excel actually finished updating the table after a given calculation. I know that each update might be a bit slow, but that doesn't bother me as long as it reliably happens.

Has anyone else run into this problem? Is there a limit to how complex of a calculation excel can do in each what if scenario?

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
