Hi all.

Does anybody have a good suggestion to resolve this issue within excel?

We have 1 user for the file. (dispatcher) Information includes Dock Departure Times.

However, Throughout the building are monitors linked into the network where the file resides.

Is there a way to update this main file to display current data periodically? Say every 5 minutes?

I understand that excel doesn't really work like that and we should consider a different alternative. However, I have been reading about workarounds with Save/Close/Re-Open options and thought that maybe for the short term, I can try one of those. Any help in direction would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
If the displays only need to show information then look at extending the monitors from the machine. four is easy, an AV company could advise on how to extend to more
