I am using Power Query and Power Pivot. I have a list of support tickets with dates opened and dates closed. I want a pivot table to count the number of tickets opened for a month and number of tickets closed for the month. When I create a slicer for each, it has to be two separate slicers. An Excel formula would be easy using countifs so surely there has to be an easy way in Power Pivot, right? Or am I over complicating it?

My ultimate goal is to have one slicer with months listed and have my data update accordingly.

I appreciate any tips and help. Thanks!

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
